Try New Things!

Part of my creative process is to try new techniques even if I never use them again. It stretches my creative imagination and I never know when I might want to use the technique in my mixed media construction projects. Jim and I are in Maui visiting our good friends Tom and Roberta. Roberta is a wonderful artist and great friend I've known since my time in living in Arizona. We got into a lot of artistic trouble and even opened an art gallery in Chandler! Crazy and fun times. Since then, she and her husband moved to a beautiful home in Maui and she converted a small horse stable into her art studio. She let us try our hand in acrylic pouring with a resin finish.
